Hayden Pannettiere

Hayden Pannettiere, born on August 21, 1989 in Palisades, New York, is an American model, singer and actress. Her modeling career started at the age of 11 months when she appeared in Playskool commercial. She suspended her education after the 7th grade to pursue her acting career.

In her early teenage years she appeared in a number of made for TV movies, made guest star appearances on “Ally McBeal”, “Malcolm in the Middle”, “Law And Order”, and even landed several supporting roles in “Remember the Titans” and voice-over work in “A Bug’s Life”. She also recorded a song called “My Hero is You” for the movie’s soundtrack, which got her a Grammy nomination at the age of 10. Her first single “Wake Up Call” was released over the internet and gained moderate popularity.

She was nominated for a Teen Choice Awards several times for her performances and won Choice TV Actress Drama and Choice TV Actress Action Adventure awards for her work in a TV series Heroes.

Off stage, she’s actively involved in “Sea Shepherd”, an organization that denounces Japanese yearly dolphin drive hunting. She participated in a confrontation with the Japanese fisherman over the issue, which led to her leaving the country. She claimed that an arrest warrant was issued against her, but the Japanese authorities deny that claim.
